Fibre art and handmade felt design by twins

Felt is the oldest form of fabric known to humankind. It is a unique, non-woven textile made from animal fibres. Felt making is a long, physical process that requires patience and endurance. Through heat, humidity, friction and a change of alkanity wool fibres turn into a dense fabric. While still wet, felt is malleable and can be manipulated into all sorts of shapes that are stored in the fibres as they dry.
